I recently stayed at The Cozy Hostel in Darwin, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The dorm room was clean, comfortable. The common area is spacious and cozy — great for relaxing, meeting other travelers, or planning daily adventures. Wi-Fi was reliable, and everything worked as it should. One of the best things about this hostel is the owner. He is incredibly kind, warm, and helpful. He made time to share local tips: where to eat, which walks to take, and the best places to watch the sunset. His friendly attitude made all the difference and really added a personal touch to my stay. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Darwin who wants a budget‑friendly place that feels like more than just a bed. This hostel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again!

⸻ I stayed 4 nights at Cozy Hostel in Darwin and really enjoyed my time there. The place is warm, very clean, and well maintained. The manager is always attentive and available if you need anything, and he gives great advice about excursions and things to do around the area. The atmosphere in the hostel is also very pleasant and friendly – it’s easy to feel comfortable and meet other travelers. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay in Darwin!

The hostel is very clean, the rooms are good and comfortable. The people are friendly, and you can tell the owners genuinely care about their guests. I'm really grateful for their help. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a calm and pleasant stay in Darwin!

Booked to stay in a private room here, but the booking site ended up overbooking the hostel. Staff was quick to notice the issue in advance (well before my arrival) and reached out with multiple options for me. They ended up booking me in a nearby hotel free of charge with an offer to still hang out and use the amenities at the hostel if I wanted. So while I can’t speak to the rooms here, this was truly some of the best customer service I’ve experienced at a hostel.

The Cozy Hostel kindly offered us some v convenient storage recently while spending half an evening in Darwin prior to red-eye flights. I would recommend this place for its great reception from lovely manager. Thanks Julie & Chrissy

I had a really great time at Cozy Hostel! Everyone there is super friendly, and both the manager and the owner are very helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests. The owner even helps with job hunting, which I thought was amazing. Compared to many other hostels in the city, Cozy is a bit quieter, which is perfect if you’re working or just want a more relaxed vibe. That being said, there are still plenty of fun events and game nights where you can meet new people. All in all, a really nice place to stay. I’d definitely come back!

Such a relief to have a chilled hostel in Darwin! Nice calm atmosphere compared to other hostels but still social. Has a couple basic kitchens and a few different social areas. Dorms comfortable with good lockers. Bigger dorms could do with more electrical sockets. Great communication over WhatsApp.
